St Joseph’s Catholic School, The Strand proudly celebrated a momentous milestone in its rich history with the commemoration of its 150th anniversary last month. This significant achievement not only recognises the school’s steadfast commitment to education but also pays tribute to the enduring spirit of the Parish community.
The anniversary festivities took place from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 May and witnessed an outpouring of joy and gratitude from the community, past and present students, and their families. The school community hosted a series of events that brought together individuals who have been an integral part of its journey. These events included a Meet and Greet, Open Morning, Gala Dinner and a special Celebration Mass presided over by Bishop Tim Harris.
