School Closures
Saturday, 27 January 2024
Catholic schools within the Townsville Diocese are expected to resume on Monday, 29 January, 2024 after being closed on Thursday due to Ex Tropical Cyclone Kirrily.
Communication regarding any disruption to schools resuming on Monday will come directly from your school community.
Thursday, 25 January 2024
Based on advice from the Bureau of Meteorology, several Catholic schools within our Diocese will be closed tomorrow, Thursday 25 January 2024.
Information regarding the Catholic school closures will be communicated with families via their school. It is expected that students will return to school on Monday 29 January, unless updated communications are received.
Catholic schools closing on Thursday, 25 January 2024 include:
