Borrower Access
Borrowing Resources
All the items in the iLibrary collection are available for loan. Schools, parishes, community groups and individuals in the Diocese of Townsville may borrow from the iLibrary at no cost.
Borrowers can borrow up to 20 items for a period of four weeks, with a further extension of four weeks available through the renewal facility in Destiny, or by contacting the Information and Resources Adviser at the Townsville Catholic Education Office.
The iLibrary delivers borrowed items to anywhere in the Townsville Diocese at no cost, but asks borrowers to return items on time and to incur any associated delivery or postage costs.
As a member of the Inter Library Resource Sharing network (ILRS), the iLibrary can provide access to journals and magazines from the Start and National libraries and is happy to loan items to other libraries in Australia. Recovery costs will be charged for this service.
Digital resources can be accessed online by account holders. Self-checkout is available for ebooks.
Contact the Information and Resources Adviser for any further information about borrowing conditions.
