Sustainability Through Catholic Social Teaching Grants and Directors Award

In 2022, seven Townsville Catholic Education schools received a Sustainability Through Social Teaching Grant to celebrate the initiatives these schools have implemented to link sustainability with Catholic Social Teachings. 

The winner of the 2022 Directors’ Award is: Columba Catholic College, Charters Towers for their outstanding connection between Catholic Social Teaching and sustainability practices; student voice in caring for the environment, caring for people, and caring for the common good; and clear evidence of the impact their work in this important area is having.
