What a week and what an amazing show that led us on a journey Into the Unknown! 

On Friday, 23 July, the students lifted the roof off the Townsville Entertainment and Convention Centre with guitars, singing, strings and outstanding acting to a sell-out crowd. 

The Mulkadee Youth Arts Festival is the only event of its kind in Australia, with more than 1,000 students (Years 4-12) showing their amazing talents, and who had the opportunity of being guided by industry specialists. 

Thank you to all those involved in the staging of this performance, and have been blessed to work with so many talented specialists, professionals and support staff who have come together to deliver this event, both on stage and behind the scenes. 

Mulkadee Youth Arts Festival for 2022 has proven yet again to be an amazing and successful event demonstrating the varied talents we have within our Catholic Diocese, and all the students recommend signing up and taking part in the unique experience that is Mulkadee. 

We look forward to seeing what journey we’ll be on in 2023.
