This week we celebrated Speech Pathology Week: 21-28 August
The Australian Bureau of Statistics has established that 1.2 million Australians have a communication disability.

Speech pathologist and Inclusive Education Coordinator, Morgan Lund, is highlighting the week’s theme: Good Communication, Better Communities.
“Communication is a basic human right, it is fundamental to a person’s ability to participate fully in the social, educational, economic and sporting aspects of our community."
"Speech Pathology Australia week raises awareness for the important role Speech Pathologists play in all students accessing and participating in education," said Morgan.
