School-Based Apprenticeships & Traineeships
School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships
School-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SbATs) are available to all Year 10, 11 and 12 students in Queensland. They allow students to commence an apprenticeship or complete a traineeship while still at school. SbATs combine paid work, training and school, while gaining an industry recognised national qualification. Students may gain credit towards the QCE, and some apprenticeships and traineeships can contribute towards an ATAR. Further information is available here.
